{"id":13255,"date":"2026-05-11T10:21:44","date_gmt":"2026-05-11T08:21:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mascontour.info\/preserving-the-past-securing-the-future-workshop-02-gdansk-poland\/"},"modified":"2026-05-11T10:31:26","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T08:31:26","slug":"preserving-the-past-securing-the-future-workshop-02-gdansk-poland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mascontour.info\/en\/preserving-the-past-securing-the-future-workshop-02-gdansk-poland\/","title":{"rendered":"Preserving the Past &#8211; Securing the Future (Workshop 02- Gdansk- Poland)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>On April 23 and 24  <\/strong>  our project <strong>Preserving the Past, Securing the Future (PPSF)<\/strong> came together at the <strong>Museum of the Second World War in Gda\u0144sk (Muzeum II Wojny \u015awiatowej w Gda\u0144sku)<\/strong> for our <strong>second capacity building workshop on Social Responsibility &amp; Community Engagement in Remembrance Tourism<\/strong>, organized by the <strong>LRE Foundation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>The workshop brought together experts from the cultural heritage and remembrance sector to engage in an intensive and practical exchange on how <strong>inclusion, accessibility and social commitment<\/strong> can be strengthened in World War II remembrance work. The sessions were designed and conducted by <strong>mascontour &#8211; Sustainable Tourism Consulting &amp; Communication<\/strong>, with <strong>Mar\u00eda T. Cruz Cortedano<\/strong> and <strong>Dr. Nicole Haeusler<\/strong> as lead speakers. <\/p>\n\n<p>Special thanks go to <strong>Mateusz Jasik<\/strong> and <strong>Magdalena Jaszcza<\/strong> for the warm welcome and the informative tour of the museum and the <strong>Gdansk shipyard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd1c <strong>Next up:<\/strong> June 11-12 in <strong>Lucca (Italy)<\/strong>, hosted by the <strong>Fondazione Campus Studi del Mediterraneo<\/strong>, with a focus on <strong>Economic Sustainability &amp; Strategic Management<\/strong>.
