Initial desk research on sustainability efforts in tourism and hospitality by companies and governments in 8 partner countries, including best-practice examples from other countries
Identification of 5-7 core areas of intervention for sustainable transformation in tourism with employment-generation potential
Assessment of job creation impact of these intervention fields directionally
Internal discussion round with GIZ to refine and prioritize the most promising intervention areas and approaches for German development cooperation
Compilation of discussion summary and sharing of results with GIZ
Quantification of job creation potential for the 3 most promising intervention areas in the 8 partner countries
Detailed analysis of one selected intervention field, including possible approaches and key actors
Presentation of final results to GIZ and submission of a comprehensive final report with all findings, including researched actors and quantified job creation potential
