Tourism offers numerous links to the core content of development cooperation. It offers countries in the Global South great opportunities to build infrastructure, create jobs, promote local economic cycles, preserve their natural and cultural heritage, and reduce poverty. However, uncontrolled tourism development can also pose great risks and have negative impacts on the society, culture and nature of these countries.
We therefore focus our consulting on the consistent protection as well as the preservation of natural and cultural resources and human rights in tourism development in the countries of the Global South. The targeted support of marginalised and vulnerable population groups as well as micro-enterprises and start-ups is just as much a focus for us as the consideration of the sustainability and growth limits of tourism. We promote political and economic participation in tourism and always link tourism development with risk prevention and risk management measures in the spirit of resilience.
We offer services from a single source and accompany our partners in the Global South from the first analysis to the concrete implementation of measures.
