date and time of email confirmation,
technical log data, insofar as this is required to document consent.

Purposes of processing

We process your data for the following purposes:

to provide access to the requested White Paper,
to carry out and document the double opt-in process,
to document your consent,
to occasionally send you information about publications, events, projects, specialist topics and services offered by mascontour in the field of sustainable tourism,
to manage unsubscribes and withdrawals of consent.

Legal basis

The processing of your data is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Where we process data in order to document your consent and comply with legal accountability obligations, the processing is also based on Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with the accountability obligations under the GDPR.

Storage period

We store your data for as long as your consent remains valid and we are permitted to send you information by email.

If you withdraw your consent or unsubscribe, your data will no longer be used for sending further information. Data required to document the original consent and the withdrawal may be stored for the duration of statutory limitation periods. After that, the data will be deleted unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Withdrawal of consent

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. You can do so by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by sending a message to contact@mascontour.info.

The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
