  • Conducting a stakeholder analysis incl. SWOT and gaps & needs analysis of each private sector association
  • Research of similar professional tourism networks developed and used by other tourism ecosystems for a similar purpose
  • Development of an ideal scenario for the representation of the East Jerusalem Tourism Value Chain (EJTVC) through its representative bodies (mandate, scope of work, interactions, etc.)
  • Development of a concept and technical framework for the “East Jerusalem Professional Tourism Business Network” including needed technical infrastructure, level of effort and needed inputs from the associations, as well as description of the benefits and potentials of use for the different associations and their members
  • Organisation and implementation/hosting of planning workshops with the stakeholder associations and GIZ to present, discuss and refine the developed scenarios
  • Development and implementation of a series of hands-on, practical capacity development activities to equip members of private sector associations with technical skills related to B2B and B2C communication and marketing
  • Technical advice for private sector associations on new formats of digital tourism marketing including fully digital or hybrid industry events/meetings and travel trade fair exhibitions (B2B and B2C)
  • Scout for existing/newly international tourism sector networks in which a membership or engagement of local sector associations could be beneficial to the respective organisations
