The COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on Timor-Leste’s already lacklustre tourism sector. The state of emergency and resulting isolation from the outside world has made it increasingly difficult for many Timorese to make a living. Domestic and international demand for tourism products and services has contracted substantially. To cope with these challenges, young entrepreneurs in Dili are being supported through a digital learning and coaching initiative developed by Agora Food Studio and mascontour, under the USAID Tourism for All Project.
