Bremen Brings Its Tourism Strategy 2030+ to Life

With the launch of the Tourism Strategy Bremen 2030+, the City of Bremen has taken an important step towards shaping a tourism sector that is sustainable, digital, resilient, and beneficial for both residents and visitors alike. Commissioned by the Senator for Economic Affairs, Ports and Transformation, the strategy provides a shared framework for action for policymakers, public administration, businesses, and civil society. Its goal is to strengthen Bremen’s position as an attractive destination while enhancing quality of life and ensuring tourism contributes positively to the city’s long-term development.

What makes the strategy particularly noteworthy is the innovative way it is being communicated. Rather than presenting the strategy solely through reports and presentations, Bremen has launched a dedicated video series that explores each of the strategy’s seven fields of action in an accessible and engaging way.

Over the coming weeks, colleagues from WFB Wirtschaftsförderung Bremen GmbH will provide insights into the key topics, priorities, and ambitions that will guide Bremen’s tourism development in the years ahead.

Effective communication is a crucial element of successful strategy implementation. By translating strategic objectives into a format that is easy to understand and share, Bremen is fostering transparency, stakeholder engagement, and a broader understanding of how tourism can create value for the city and its communities.

mascontour was pleased to support the development of the Tourism Strategy Bremen 2030+ and accompany the strategic planning process. We are delighted to see the strategy entering its implementation phase and being communicated through such a creative and stakeholder-oriented approach.

We congratulate all partners involved in the strategy process and the production of the video series and look forward to following the discussions and initiatives that will help shape the future of tourism in Bremen.
