Sustainability training for the accommodation sector in Tunisia

Over the past weeks, Diana facilitated a presentation series for Tunisian accommodation providers with members of the German Sector Dialogue “Tourism for Sustainable Development”, as part of the GIZ Tunisia project “promotion du tourisme durable”. A range of different sustainable tourism topics were presented, such as circular economy, food waste, human rights issues in tourism, requirements for destinations by the German source markets and others. Tunisian hotels and small guest house owners had the chance to discuss, engage, network and to learn from the valuable work done by members of the sector dialogue.
